I think everybody had a good time.
We ended up making:
- barbecue chicken ramen
- Grandma MaryAnn’s chili
- sirloin steak
- sauteed veggies
- duck (Dani)
- mulled wine (Dani)
- vegan blood (Mar)
- chocolate wine (can’t remember)
The batch of vegan blood that Mar brought was absolutely delicious, especially when adding a little into hot apple cider.
There was also a round of Cards Against Muggles played. I might be the outlier but I’m going to say that Dani stacked the deck because she was doing really good the entire game. But I definitely want to have another game night sometime.
Best of all, Connor got his Rick Roll achieved by someone besides me. Albeit not their first, but still, got another person, so now I’m not the only one.
The dogs did fairly well. Obviously, they would bark when
- someone arrived
- if someone knocked on the door,
- any fast movement
- sudden standing up from somebody that had their attention.
So it was an interesting night for them.
We closed out the night watching Free Guy on the projector.
For those who chose to stay home for health reasons, thank you, You are appreciated. If you want some of the food I can bring some chili or ramen for you. For those who couldn’t, we’re sorry you couldn’t attend. But you all were missed.
All in all, I think we can call it a great success.
